Who We Are
A group of like minded pedigree British Blonde Cattle Breeders who feel passionately about promoting the benefits of our cattle to other farmers, meat processors and ultimately the consumer.

All our cattle are reared to the highest standards on farms where grass and quality silage form the basis of our feeding programmes to help minimise concentrate feeding. Great care goes into selecting our parent stock to produce cattle that have a carcass that has a fine fat marbling throughout the meat, which helps create tasty tender cuts. The cooking quality of the meat from blonde cattle has been revered by top chefs and has won numerous eating competitions. This fine marbling leads to a leaner top fat that is quality not found in most other breeds. This reduces the need for trimming away of excess fat while giving the consumer the added reassurance of a healthier lower saturated fat content.
All our herds are members of a government ran High Herd Health Scheme which ensures our cattle are free from diseases such as BVD, Johnes, Lepto and IBR.
What We Do
We are simply farmers who care deeply for our animals and the land. We have worked with generations of our pedigree cattle to achieve highly desirable traits. The cattle are reared at grass and with the record topping meat to bone ratio of all breeds we produce the most environmentally sustainable animal. So not only is the meat richly textured and finely marbled it has a reduced carbon footprint per head of the breed.

Group Objectives
Our aim is to grow the development of the breed organically. We are still growing in the pedigree and suckler market in Northern Ireland and aim to develop the NI Blonde Beef Brand ensuring the customer has a choice on menus in the country’s best eateries. We hope to see the Blonde Breed flourish with an established beef bonus scheme. We are presently considering options for an expanding processor and commercial farmers to come on board.
